I don’t like birthdays, but this was one of the best. I rarely go for bike rides, but this day I did. Crystalline blue, sunbeams glancing off the otherworldly metal, dark waters and sporadic bursts of colourful joy; a deep connection to the expanse, and a profound feeling of liberation. A vibrant world of possibilities. A reminder that sometimes when we veer off piste, we open ourselves to incredible experiences of wonder.
